Fellow of the Bellas Artes, the Mexican Writers Center and the National Arts Fund, to write poetry and translate from Russian on various occasions. Presidential Medal of Chile Pablo Neruda in 2004. National Medal of Literature Clemente López Trujillo 2003, El Barco de Oro Medal, Veracruz-Barcelona 2003, among other awards and recognitions.

Belongs to the NATIONAL SYSTEM OF RESEARCHERS (SNI) on a permanent basis.
